The Kronos Project

History follows mathematically predicatable patterns, except in certain circumstances. These pattern breaking incidents were always believed to be the exceptions that proved the rule, simply because no other plausible explanation existed. But then the Kronos Foundation turned its considerable resources towards the problem of interstellar space flight. The pursuit of new technology always leads to serendipitous discoveries not planned for...such as the ability to time travel. Suddenly those statistically improbably events in history made sense! It was now the obligation of the Foundation to create a team to go back in time and ensure that history happened the way it was recorded.

History, after all, cannot be changed.
